SHADOWS
Curtis Winkelmann, 2021-24
We are the space we take up in the universe. Our minds encapsulate and create so much that we can forget we are still tethered to the Earth by biological bodies. We exist now in the digital space just as much as we do in the physical. For better or for so much fucking worse.
Shadows are an absence of light where light is plenty. Cosmic mirrors showing us form without content. This is a collection of photographs captured over the course of many years, across many phases of life, every time an eclipse was noticed. A reminder. Still here. Still taking up space.
