CodeSpeak is a physical manifestation of Nothing Serious' philosophy. Through cosmic communiqués, beings are encouraged to seek truth beyond sense.

All communiqués are sourced by Curtis Winkelmann from half-whispered quarter truths used by new age revolutionaries in the war against total understanding. Their purpose is to redefine humanity's relationship with meaning, provoke non-linear thought, and connect beings to abstract wisdom.

CodeSpeak's first transmission exists as six large-scale aluminium signs deployed in a series of public spaces regarded as far from spiritual: banks, boardrooms, bathrooms, car parks, shopping centres. 

Produced to industrial specification by a commercial manufacturer, CodeSpeak Communiqués are indistinguishable from the instructional signage which furnishes our society.

We expect elements of permanence and truth when we encounter information presented in this form. CodeSpeak utilises this fact to force beings to instinctively seek sense, even when it’s not immediately obvious.
